The SWEVT Conference

The SWEVT Conference, hosted by TAEVT, AFSMA, and AAEVT, is a week-long training event designed to provide affordable professional development opportunities for attendees. This conference features a limited number of rooms available at a special rate, ensuring participants have convenient accommodations. Attendees will have access to two EVT test sites during the conference week, specifically on March 14 and 19, allowing for hands-on learning experiences. The event is renowned for its high-quality classes taught by professional instructors with factory-level training expertise. In addition to educational sessions, the conference fosters peer networking opportunities, enabling attendees to connect and share insights with fellow professionals in the field.All training activities will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fort Worth South, which will also host a Round Table and Vendor Event on Tuesday, followed by a Banquet, auction, and raffle on Wednesday, with proceeds benefiting Camp Sweeney. Families are encouraged to attend evening events from Monday to Wednesday, making the conference a welcoming experience for all. A significant aspect of this year's event is the commitment to support Camp Sweeney, with contributions from the 2027 SWEVT Training Conference being donated in honor of Grady Jones, helping children with Type 1 Diabetes attend camp. The conference will feature distinguished speakers and award winners, including Homer Roberston, the 2022 EVT of the Year from Arizona, Kevin Rulison, the 2021 SWEVT Conference Keynote Speaker and the 2023 EVT of Texas, Philip Cantua, the 2023 Arizona EVT of the Year, and Tommy Moak, the 2023 Jim A. Bland recipient and the 2023 Texas EVT of the Year. Additionally, Gary Morrison will be recognized as the 2023 Instructor of the Year. This event promises to be an enriching experience for all attendees, providing valuable insights and recognition in the field of EVT.
