IDA Convention and Trade Show

The IDA Convention and Trade Show is a significant event aimed at welcoming new members and first-time attendees, providing them with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the convention schedule and upcoming activities. This exclusive welcome event is designed to ease newcomers into the dynamic environment of the convention, setting the stage for an engaging and informative week ahead. Attendees will gather at The Westin San Diego Bayview, particularly in the Crystal Ballroom on Level 2 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, fostering a sense of community and collaboration right from the start.The event also features a Product Expo, which will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Topaz Room on Level 2. This expo is an excellent platform for participants to explore innovative products and solutions within the heavy equipment aftermarket. Additionally, a Board Meeting will take place in the Coral Room on Level 3, where newly elected individuals are encouraged to adjust their schedules accordingly to attend. Registration and badge pick-up will occur at the Registration Desk, Level 2, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, ensuring that all attendees are properly checked in for the convention.A Trade Show will also be part of the convention, featuring a lunch served from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM on the Trade Show Floor, along with a Happy Hour from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, allowing attendees to network and connect with industry peers. The closing reception will take place on the Pool Deck, Level 3, where a Live Auction will be held to support IDA initiatives within the heavy equipment aftermarket. All proceeds from the donated auction items will contribute to the advancement of the association’s goals, making it a meaningful part of the event.
