National Farmers Union's Anniversary Convention

The National Farmers Union's Anniversary Convention is a premier gathering designed for family farmers and ranchers across the United States, focusing on meaningful fellowship, policy discussions, and networking opportunities. This conference serves as a platform for attendees to engage with policymakers and thought leaders who will share crucial information as the country enters a new Congress and administration. The convention emphasizes the strength of the Farmers Union's members and the importance of connecting with fellow farmers and ranchers to prepare for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.In addition to the main convention activities, attendees have the opportunity to participate in a pre-convention adventure, which includes two separate coach trips. One trip will take participants to Southwestern Oklahoma to explore a no-till variety seed production farm that exports across the country, a cooperative cotton gin, and a diversified family farming and ranching operation that specializes in peanut production. The second trip will highlight Oklahoma City's agricultural roots, featuring various attractions, museums, and monuments relevant to the state's agricultural history. Both excursions are sponsored by the American Farmers & Ranchers/Oklahoma Farmers Union chapter, and a participant fee will be charged for meals and refreshments. Registration is required for these adventures, as well as for the main convention events.The convention itself will include debates and the adoption of the 2025 NFU Policy Book, breakout sessions covering farm policy, innovation, and community engagement, as well as presentations from top speakers in the industry. A notable highlight will be the NFU Foundation Fundraiser aimed at supporting the future of family agriculture. President Rob Larew will deliver the State of the Farmers Union address, celebrating individuals who have made significant contributions to American family farm agriculture and the Farmers Union.
