Mid-Winter Meeting

The Farm Agents Council (FAC) is a professional organization composed of licensed independent insurance agencies that specialize in writing farm, agri-business, and crop insurance through multiple carriers. The FAC aims to foster networking, education, and peer-to-peer learning among its members, who represent a crucial segment of the agricultural insurance industry. This initiative is particularly beneficial for agents who are looking to enhance their expertise and connect with like-minded professionals.

The FAC hosts two significant in-person events each year, providing members with opportunities to gather, share knowledge, and strengthen their professional ties. The Mid-Winter Meeting, held at the Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino in East Peoria, is one of these key events. This meeting serves as a platform for members to engage in discussions, attend informative sessions, and network with peers from various regions, including an audience reach that extends to countries like Egypt and Iraq.

Additionally, the FAC organizes the Golf Outing & Summer Meeting in June, further promoting camaraderie and collaboration among its members. This structure not only allows members to learn from seasoned professionals but also to contribute their insights, creating a rich environment for growth within the agricultural insurance sector.
