Legislative Ag Chairs Summit

The Legislative Agriculture Chairs Summit, hosted by the State Ag and Rural Leaders (SARL), is set to take place in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This prestigious event, which will occur from January 8-10, 2027, coincides with the Pennsylvania Farm Show, one of the largest indoor agricultural events in America. This unique timing allows Summit attendees to fully immerse themselves in both the legislative discussions and the vibrant agricultural showcase of the Farm Show. The Summit is designed specifically for state and provincial legislators, along with selected speakers and sponsors who share a passion for agriculture and rural community development.Since its inception in 2002, the Legislative Agriculture Chairs Summit has served as a crucial platform for elected officials from across the U.S. and Canada. It provides an opportunity for lawmakers to learn, engage, and network with peers facing similar agricultural challenges. The event fosters collaboration and innovation aimed at ensuring a sustainable future for agriculture and rural communities. The State Ag and Rural Leaders group, which organized this Summit, was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2006, further solidifying its commitment to championing agricultural interests and rural development.
