Capital Region Flower & Garden Expo

The Capital Region Flower & Garden Expo is an exciting event taking place at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, United States. This vibrant expo showcases the beauty of spring through immersive garden displays and themed floral exhibits. Visitors can explore a bustling Marketplace featuring over 190 unique vendors, offering an array of products including houseplants, fresh flowers, bulbs, seeds, garden décor, artisan foods, and handcrafted goods. The expo also features an indoor farmers market, allowing attendees to shop for a variety of gardening essentials and culinary delights while enjoying tastings of New York State wines and spirits throughout the weekend.In addition to the marketplace, the event includes over 50 hours of expert-led seminars and demonstrations at educational stations, covering a wide range of topics from ecological landscaping to floral design and DIY gardening workshops. The Capital Region Flower & Garden Expo not only highlights the beauty of gardening but also supports the Wildwood organization, which has been providing community-based services to individuals with learning disabilities and autism for over 50 years. Although Wildwood no longer manages the expo, they remain involved, with a portion of each ticket sold donated to their cause. This connection enhances the event's community impact, as Wildwood supports approximately 3,500 individuals and families each year, helping them achieve independence and fulfillment.
