Pennsylvania Land Conservation Conference

The Pennsylvania Land Conservation Conference, held at the Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel & Conference Center, is recognized as Pennsylvania’s premier networking, training, and inspirational event tailored for staff and volunteers involved in conservation efforts. This significant gathering attracts between 350 to 400 attendees each year, primarily comprising individuals from land trusts, county and local municipal governments, state agencies, trail groups, watershed associations, and various other organizations dedicated to conservation. While the majority of participants hail from Pennsylvania, the event also welcomes attendees from neighboring states and even international representatives, with reach extending to countries such as Germany, Ghana, and Turkmenistan.Organized by WeConservePA, the conference serves as a platform where participants can enhance their understanding of effective land conservation practices, sustainable usage of natural resources, and strategies for connecting communities with the outdoors.
