NYCESPA Convention

The NYCESPA Convention, hosted at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, is a prominent event dedicated to celebrating the extraordinary contributions of principals in the educational sector, particularly in these unprecedented times. This year, the convention is themed Elementary Principals: Leading in Unprecedented Times, inviting principals to attend alongside their Assistant Principals and School Leadership Team members. The event promises a full day of enriching learning experiences, opportunities for networking, and engagement with a diverse array of exhibitors showcasing the latest products and services designed to enhance student success. The convention will culminate in a gala luncheon, providing a platform to honor colleagues who have achieved significant milestones in their principalship, specifically those achieving 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year anniversaries. Notable figures in attendance will include Isabel DiMola, the Acting First Deputy Chancellor of the New York City Public Schools, who is recognized for her over 30 years of service and commitment to educational equity and holistic student development. She will be awarded the Ed Averill Leadership in Education Award, acknowledging her impactful work in ensuring all students have access to quality educational experiences. Additionally, John R.
