The Iowa-Illinois Safety Council (IISC) presents the First Aid, CPR, and AED course, designed to equip participants with essential skills for emergency response in various industries such as construction, law enforcement, logistics, manufacturing, and assembly. This comprehensive six-hour class adheres to the National Safety Council (NSC) curriculum, ensuring that the training is both current and relevant. It emphasizes practical, hands-on training balanced with engaging classroom instruction, making it an ideal choice for organizations focused on fostering a safety culture and meeting OSHA's training standards.Participants will learn to handle breathing and cardiac emergencies, act effectively to sustain life until professional help arrives, and identify and care for bleeding, sudden illnesses, and injuries. The course also covers the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). Upon successful completion, each participant will receive a personalized two-year certificate, along with digital certificates and wallet cards. The IISC guarantees that all materials and instruction are provided in English, and non-English speaking attendees may bring interpreters to assist with comprehension.
