WRC-ALCA Annual Conference

The WRC-ALCA Annual Conference, themed 'From Clear Waters to High Peaks: Elevating Aging Life Care™', will be held at Harveys Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino in Stateline, United States. This event is organized by the 2026 WRC-ALCA Chapter Board of Directors and Conference Committee, chaired by Jill Melvin MSW, LCSW, CMC and Gail Arno, CMC. The conference aims to provide high-quality educational programs for Aging Life Care Professionals® in the Western Region of the United States.

The conference will offer various educational tracks, including Clinical/Client Centered, Business Development, and Legal, Ethics & Policy. Additionally, it encompasses eight different knowledge areas, such as Health and Disability, Financial, Housing, Families, Local Resources, Advocacy, Legal, and Crisis Intervention. The materials and information presented will align with the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the Aging Life Care Association.

There is also a call for speaker proposals, with a submission deadline set for March 13, 2026. With full conference registration fees starting at $550-575 for members and $650-675 for non-members, all registrations will include CEU Certificates, with student rates and scholarships available.

Attendees are encouraged to take advantage of a special group rate of $259.00, available on a first-come, first-served basis for reservations made under the group block until August 14, 2026. This rate assists the Association in meeting contractual commitments to the hotel, which helps maintain reasonable conference fees. The hotel amenities include a full-service spa, 24-hour fitness center access, and modern fitness facilities with stunning mountain views.

Guests will also benefit from access to sauna, steam, and whirlpool facilities, along with complimentary Wi-Fi for up to two devices per room per day.
