The Wisconsin SHRM State Council hosts an annual conference for Human Resource professionals, celebrating the dedication and hard work of volunteers who contribute to its success. The upcoming conferences will take place at the Kalahari Resort & Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells, with the 2026 conference scheduled for October 14-16, 2026, and the 2027 conference on October 13-15, 2027. These events are pivotal for fostering connections among HR professionals across the state and providing valuable insights into the ever-evolving field of Human Resources.To ensure the continued excellence of these conferences, the Wisconsin SHRM is actively seeking committed HR leaders to serve as the 2026 Conference Co-Chairs, with an emphasis on collaboration and community engagement. The planning committee will consist of sub-committee co-chairs who will focus on various aspects such as Exhibits, Programming, Accommodations, and Publications. Prospective co-chairs are encouraged to commit for two to three years, attending monthly planning meetings from December until the conference date in October. The role provides an incredible opportunity to develop relationships with fellow HR professionals while contributing to the profession's growth. Leah, the Conference Liaison Director, leads these initiatives, bringing over 19 years of HR experience and a passion for fostering a supportive HR community.
