Use of Force Summit

The Use of Force Summit is a prominent event that offers exceptional value for law enforcement professionals, attracting over 900 police leaders from various regions, including the USA and Uganda. This three-day summit facilitates an environment for educational exchange and networking, allowing attendees to gather insights and share information that can significantly benefit their agencies.

The summit features a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Attorney Daigle, who specializes in use of force standards and acts as a law enforcement consultant. His expertise encompasses guidance on operations, force response, and risk management, along with experience serving as an expert witness in use of force cases. Lieutenant Dillon, a retired law enforcement officer with 25 years of experience, will also lead sessions on the internationally recognized L.O.C.K.U.P.® Arrest and Control System, which focuses on reducing injuries to both citizens and officers.

Additionally, he developed the L.E.A.D.S. (Law Enforcement Active De-escalation Strategies) curriculum, which has been implemented across various states. Other notable speakers include Dr. Bill Lewinski, co-founder of the Force Science® Institute, who brings a wealth of knowledge in police psychology and human dynamics during high-stress encounters, and Paul Taylor, an Assistant Professor who specializes in decision-making and human factors in police-public interactions.

Josh Guthrie, a veteran of the Pennsylvania State Police, will share his expertise in police use of force incidents and multimedia analysis. Together, these speakers will provide invaluable insights into the complexities of law enforcement and the critical importance of effective training and policy implementations.
