Turn It Up Dance Convention

The Turn It Up Dance Convention is a premier event designed for dancers aged 6 and up, offering a unique opportunity to learn from top industry professionals in a supportive and inspiring environment. Held at the Midwest Conference Center in Northlake, this convention emphasizes a more individualized approach to dance education, catering to each dancer's experience and skill level. The convention features a diverse range of dance styles including Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, and Musical Theater, among others, ensuring that participants can explore various forms of dance.

One of the highlights of the event is the chance for dancers to meet and interact with master teachers, receiving autographs and photographs to commemorate their experience. This personal touch enhances the community feel of the convention. Additionally, outstanding dancers will have the opportunity to earn scholarships for future Turn It Up Dance Challenge events, regionals, or national competitions.

There are also exciting prospects for select dancers to assist master teachers at future conventions, providing invaluable hands-on experience in the dance industry. Furthermore, master teachers will be scouting for talent to invite onto the Turn It Up National Dance Team, where dancers can perform in front of a large audience, receive costumes, and work closely with renowned choreographers.

The convention aims to foster a spirit of camaraderie and professional growth, with directors able to participate by registering any number of dancers and receiving a free studio director wristband. The event promises a comprehensive schedule of activities, including giveaways, showcases, and a meet-and-greet session. Attendees will be guided by an impressive roster of faculty, including dancers and choreographers who have worked with major artists and productions, ensuring an enriching experience for all participants.

With a commitment to nurturing talent and creating lasting memories, the Turn It Up Dance Convention stands out as a significant opportunity for young dancers to advance their skills and connect with industry professionals.
