Treasury Symposium

The Treasury Symposium, hosted by the Treasury Institute for Higher Education, is a pivotal event aimed at enhancing treasury operations and cash flow management for treasury and financial executives from colleges and universities. This symposium focuses on creating educational materials tailored to the needs of its participants, encouraging faculty contributions and facilitating feedback to ensure relevant discussions and insights.The event will take place in Las Vegas, featuring a comprehensive agenda that spans several days, beginning with registration and a welcome reception on Sunday evening, followed by full days of sessions on Monday and Tuesday, and concluding with a half-day of sessions on Wednesday. Esteemed speakers will include John D. Dolan from Carnegie Mellon University, Chad Cook from Virginia Commonwealth University, Scott L. Greer from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Timothy T. Hesler from New York University, Carol S. Slinkard from the University of Arkansas, and Jake Wozniak from The Ohio State University. Attendance is limited to representatives from institutions of higher education and supporters of the Treasury Institute, ensuring a focused and collaborative environment. Registration is capped at three representatives per institution, not including speakers, to promote diverse university participation and networking opportunities.The symposium is recognized for continuing education credits, approved by the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP) for CTP, CCM, and FP&A credits, further adding value to attendees. Participants will receive certificates of attendance via email post-event, and they are encouraged to maintain records of their participation for professional credit reporting. Additionally, to align with sustainability efforts, the Treasury Institute has adopted a green initiative, opting to provide all conference materials digitally through an event app, which will be accessible throughout the calendar year. This commitment to sustainability eliminates excess paper use, enhancing the overall experience while also supporting environmental stewardship.
