Symposium on The Future of AI

The Symposium on The Future of AI is set to take place at the School of Engineering on the Montana State University (MSU) campus in Bozeman, United States. This event highlights the ongoing conversations and innovative work being done at MSU regarding artificial intelligence (AI) in the realms of teaching, research, and workforce development. With a focus on the ethical and humanistic dimensions of AI, the symposium aims to address these critical issues through dedicated research, dialogue, and responsible innovation.

MSU is poised to lead in the exploration of AI and its human implications, reflecting its commitment to preparing students for the evolving landscape of business and industry.

The symposium will feature presentations from MSU faculty who will showcase their cutting-edge research in AI, alongside major national speakers who are leaders in the field. This initiative is part of a broader strategy at MSU, which includes a proposal submitted to the Montana Board of Regents to establish a formal Institute on Artificial Intelligence.

This institute is expected to significantly enhance MSU's research capacity across various disciplines, including scientific, humanistic, agricultural, and business domains. By hosting this symposium, MSU aims to equip its students and the wider Montana community with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate and manage the rapidly emerging technologies associated with AI.
