SPC Impact

The SPC Impact event, held at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, United States, is a pivotal gathering for those involved in the sustainable packaging sector. Organized by the Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC), this event serves as a platform for collaboration among businesses, educational institutions, organizations, and government agencies dedicated to promoting sustainable practices across the entire lifecycle of packaging. The SPC aims to foster a cooperative environment that enhances the business case for more sustainable packaging solutions.

At the SPC Impact event, attendees can expect a variety of educational resources and discussions focused on key topics in sustainable packaging. One of the highlights includes insights into the recycled content opportunity, illustrating how brands can leverage narratives around recycled materials to connect more effectively with consumers. Another significant resource addressed will be the role of post-consumer recycled content within Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws for packaging, providing a comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks and their implications for sustainable packaging initiatives.

This event reflects SPC's commitment to advancing sustainability in packaging and is part of its broader mission under the auspices of GreenBlue, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering the sustainable use of materials.
