SecureMaine

The SecureMaine Conference is an annual event taking place in Portland, United States, organized by the 501(c)3 non-profit organization SecureMaine. The conference encompasses a full day of discussions and presentations centered around information security, technology governance, and architecture, concluding with a roundtable discussion featuring distinguished professionals such as Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), Chief Information Officers (CIOs), and Chief Information Privacy Officers (CIPOs).

The event will cover both cybersecurity and physical security topics. A notable aspect of the conference is its provision of continuing education credits (CEUs), typically amounting to eight units for relevant topics. This year, organizers expect approximately 250 attendees and aim to have around 25 sponsor tables available, making it a vibrant networking opportunity.

The attendance fee is set at an affordable rate of $40, thanks to the support from volunteers and sponsors. The SecureMaine Conference also invites national experts and leaders from federal agencies, significant organizations, and various professional sectors such as law, technology, and policy-making to present at the event. Notable presenters include Elyse Nielsen, Senior Executive Enterprise Architect and Field CTO at ServiceNow; Christopher Haller, Principal Security Consultant at Omada Technologies; and Michael Radigan, Cyber Risk Advisor at Cisco.

In addition to presentations, the conference features a sponsors pavilion that facilitates networking opportunities among attendees. Refreshments, lunch, and parking are included in the attendance fee, enhancing the overall experience.
