The event will cover both cybersecurity and physical security topics. A notable aspect of the conference is its provision of continuing education credits (CEUs), typically amounting to eight units for relevant topics. This year, organizers expect approximately 250 attendees and aim to have around 25 sponsor tables available, making it a vibrant networking opportunity. The attendance fee is set at an affordable rate of $40, thanks to the support from volunteers and sponsors. The SecureMaine Conference also invites national experts and leaders from federal agencies, significant organizations, and various professional sectors such as law, technology, and policy-making to present at the event.
