SDITE Annual Meeting

The SDITE Annual Meeting is a premier event hosted by the Southern District Institute of Transportation Engineers (SDITE), bringing together over 300 transportation professionals from various sectors, including academia, government, and private practice. Held at the Hyatt Regency Greenville in Greenville, United States, this annual gathering is a celebration of networking, knowledge exchange, and professional development. The event features an array of activities including an extensive lineup of technical sessions focused on engineering and planning, a golf tournament, and a social event sponsored by the Associated Business Division (ABD). Alongside these, a spouse/guest program and a half-day professional development seminar enhance the experience for all attendees.One of the highlights of the meeting is the Temple Scholarship Challenge, commonly referred to as the traffic bowl, where undergraduate and graduate students can showcase their transportation knowledge in a competitive format. This competition not only fosters academic engagement but also strengthens the bonds among participants, echoing the essence of SDITE as a community that resembles a large family.
