S4x

S4x is a dynamic three-day event focused on advancing operational technology (OT) security and catering to early adopters. Set in Tampa, United States, this event is structured around three stages featuring a variety of sessions designed for both seasoned professionals and those eager to engage with innovative ideas. Attendees can expect an enjoyable experience that combines learning with social activities, all within a creative environment that fosters out-of-the-box thinking.

S4x emphasizes the importance of community and collaboration, making it a unique gathering for individuals passionate about shaping the future of OT and ICS security.

The event includes meaningful initiatives such as the S4x26 Charity Water Campaign, which successfully raised $13.9K through donations and the Jerry Can Challenge. This significant contribution supports the establishment of sustainable water systems in villages, showcasing the event's commitment to giving back. Additionally, S4x26 will feature 'Birds of a Feather' meetups, which are informal gatherings that allow attendees to network and share insights within specific industries, including Manufacturing, Electric, and Oil & Gas.

These meetups are designed to encourage discussion and collaboration over a structured 2.5-hour format. Notably, the Cabana Sessions returned by popular demand after their introduction in 2016, providing a relaxed setting for attendees to unwind and connect.

The agenda for S4x includes a range of content delivered across three stages, supplemented by nine Prime Rooms dedicated to focused sessions. This dual-structure approach allows attendees to dive deeply into topics without feeling overwhelmed. Renowned speakers will contribute to the event's success, including John Hultquist from Google Cloud, who will present a keynote address on Day 2.

Hultquist is recognized for his expertise in identifying threats to OT security, particularly those related to Russian cyber threats such as Sandworm. His insights will be invaluable for attendees looking to understand the evolving threat landscape in operational technology. Overall, S4x presents an exceptional opportunity for professionals to connect, learn, and contribute to the advancement of OT security.
