Resident Education Program Conference

The Resident Education Program Conference is designed for early-stage adult and pediatric neurology residents, aiming to provide a solid foundation in headache medicine education. This program is led by experienced faculty in neurologic education and headache medicine, with the goal of inspiring more junior neurology trainees to pursue careers in headache medicine. The conference will take place at the UCLA Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference Center in Los Angeles, bringing together participants from across the United States.Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in small group discussions with leaders in the field, receiving cutting-edge content on diagnosis and treatment options through live lectures and workshops. The program not only promotes the exchange of information concerning the causes and treatments of headache and related painful disorders, but also introduces residents to experienced faculty who can guide them in their professional development. Participants will leave the conference equipped to effectively diagnose and manage headache conditions using evidence-based pharmacologic, nonpharmacologic, procedural, and behavioral approaches. Moreover, they will learn how new therapies can enhance the current standard of care in both acute and preventive treatments for migraine and other headache disorders, fostering an environment for scholarly activity in teaching and research related to migraine.
