The PTI Seminars, held at Matsuda Eric H CPA in Honolulu, United States, present an extensive 16-hour program focused on the latest developments in tax law. This comprehensive seminar covers a variety of critical topics, including new developments related to the application of the OBBBA, strategies for individual taxpayers involving reverse mortgages and charitable giving, and capital gains strategies. Additionally, the seminar delves into the ethical considerations of navigating client misconduct and addresses small business tax issues, including employee tax concerns and EBLs/NOLs. Participants will also receive an important IRS update on managing client penalties and information concerning the MATH Act. Attendees can expect to receive a printed copy of the Federal Tax Workbook (FTW) at in-person events to aid in their learning experience. The seminar caters to professionals with at least two years of experience in tax return preparation and a foundational understanding of tax law, rules, and regulations.
