Pediatric Symposium

The Pediatric Symposium, organized by West Virginia EMS for Children, is a dynamic multi-day event aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of providers caring for pediatric populations in emergency settings. Set in the picturesque Summit Bechtel Reserve in Glen Jean, West Virginia, this symposium promises a rich blend of educational opportunities and family-friendly activities designed to engage both professionals and their families.

Participants can expect an array of pediatric courses that include hands-on training and real-life interactive scenarios, fostering a renewed passion for pediatric care. This year’s symposium is particularly unique as it encourages family involvement, providing classes and presentations tailored for children of all ages. Families can partake in various activities such as fishing, archery, ziplining, rock climbing, knife throwing, and hiking, ensuring an enriching experience for all attendees.

The organizers are actively seeking vendors, sponsors, and presenters to showcase innovative products that can enhance pediatric care, as well as support family-oriented activities. Contributions to the symposium not only help enhance the experience but also enter donors into a raffle to win a handmade First Responder Quilt, reflecting appreciation for the dedicated heroes in the field.
