Parrot expo

The Parrot Expo, hosted at VFW Post 433 in Sayville, NY, is Long Island's premier event dedicated to exotic bird enthusiasts. This full-day event runs from 9 AM to 5 PM and is designed to cater to pet bird lovers with a variety of activities centered around education, shopping, and fun. Attendees can engage in an interactive education center where they can consult with experienced parrot owners, share experiences, and address common avian behavior issues.

This is an excellent opportunity for visitors to learn about which bird species might be the best fit for their families and get answers to questions like 'Why does my bird do that?'. Additionally, the expo provides access to referrals for veterinarians, grooming services, and bird sitters, ensuring that bird owners have all the resources they need.

The event features a vibrant marketplace where attendees can shop for a wide range of products for their feathered companions, including cages, food, toys, accessories, giftware, and art—all available at competitive prices. The expo also presents an exciting raffle arena filled with an impressive selection of bird-related products. Guests can try their luck by spinning the prize wheel for additional chances to win.

Attendees are reminded that only staff and designated volunteers are permitted to bring their parrots to the expo, so it’s encouraged to leave pet birds at home and return with plenty of treats and toys. The schedule includes presentations from industry experts, with the first presentation taking place at noon and a second at 2:30 PM. Raffle winners must be present to claim their prizes before 4 PM, and any unclaimed prizes will be included in a 'Second Chance' raffle later in the day.

The Parrot Expo provides an engaging and educational experience for all attendees, making it a must-visit event for bird lovers across the USA.
