ObesityWeek

ObesityWeek is the preeminent international conference dedicated to the field of obesity, bringing together researchers and clinicians to discuss the latest developments in evidence-based obesity science. The conference will encompass a wide array of topics, emphasizing the multi-disciplinary approaches required to effectively treat obesity. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the full spectrum of obesity science, which includes basic and clinical research, obesity treatment and prevention strategies, and advocacy efforts in public policy.

This year’s theme, Obesity as a Chronic Disease: Treating Obesity First, underscores the importance of addressing obesity as a serious, long-term condition rather than merely a lifestyle choice. This perspective highlights the need to recognize obesity as a root cause of various health complications and to prioritize its management within clinical care practices.

With over 250 expert speakers, ObesityWeek offers a platform for sharing the latest research findings, best practices in clinical care, and innovative treatment strategies aimed at improving patient outcomes. The conference will also include the ObesityWeek Interactive segment, which features participation from a variety of national and international professional and patient advocacy groups in co-sponsored symposia.

Attendees will have the chance to network and collaborate with leaders in the field, enhancing their understanding of the complexities of obesity and its management across different populations. ObesityWeek will be held in Washington, United States, and serves as a vital hub for professionals dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in obesity care.
