New England Traditions

The New England Traditions event, organized by the New England Traditions team, is a prominent five-day decorative painting retreat held at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel & Trade Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This event brings together a community of over 350 painters, from beginners to veterans, to enhance their decorative painting skills through a series of more than 100 classes. Participants can expect to explore various mediums including acrylic, oil, watercolor, colored pencil, pastel, and mixed media, all taught by experienced instructors dedicated to fostering creativity and artistic growth.In addition to the diverse class offerings, the event features a vibrant painters’ trade show, showcasing an extensive array of decorative painting supplies, including brushes, paints, surfaces, and design materials. This exhibit hall is designed to inspire attendees and equip them with everything necessary to spark their creativity. Since its inception in 1999, New England Traditions has celebrated the rich heritage of decorative painting conventions in New England, continuing to build a strong community through art and creativity. With participation from various decorative artists' guilds, this event not only highlights artistic expression but also strengthens connections among artists across the USA.
