Elizabeth Fan and Hannah Kang earned second and third place respectively for their research on photodynamic therapy and a specific dermatological condition in children. Finally, the NCDA Executive Board has issued a position statement addressing health insurance carrier practices that adversely affect patient care, advocating for necessary changes to reduce delays and burdens on dermatologists and their patients.
