The National Model United Nations (NMUN) in New York City is the world’s largest, oldest, and most prestigious intercollegiate Model UN conference. This exceptional event attracts thousands of the brightest and most passionate college and university students from over 120 countries. Participants will immerse themselves in discussions around the most pressing global issues of our time, including climate change, human rights, and global security, all while stepping into the shoes of a diplomat. The conference offers a unique opportunity to engage in simulated UN committees where attendees will draft resolutions addressing critical global problems, enabling them to hone their negotiation and public speaking skills.Attendees will also have the chance to network with peers from around the world, learning about diverse cultures and perspectives, paving the way for them to become the next generation of international leaders. The experience is further enhanced by opportunities to visit Permanent Missions to the UN, allowing participants to interact with policy experts. Some select sessions will take place at the UN Headquarters, subject to availability.
