National Community Relations and Development Conference

The National Community Relations and Development Conference, known as Better Together 2027, will take place at Bartle Hall in Kansas City, United States. This venue features an impressive 388,800 square feet of column-free exhibit space all on one floor, making it an exceptional location for the event. Bartle Hall is conveniently connected to major downtown hotels and offers 1,000 underground parking spaces, along with access to the Municipal Auditorium and the Conference Center through skywalks and underground walkways. The facility is equipped with three truck docks and 29 trailer bays, showcasing its versatility and accessibility for both exhibitors and attendees.The conference aims to inspire, equip, and unite 2,500 participants around a shared mission focused on the work of The Salvation Army. Attendees will discover new strategies and tools to elevate their efforts and gain insights from data, research, and best practices across various territories. The event is designed to build cross-functional partnerships that amplify impact, explore innovative approaches to ministry and service, and foster connections with peers, mentors, and leaders from across the country. Participants will have the opportunity to celebrate their shared calling and the power of unity, hear from visionary leaders shaping the future of The Salvation Army, and engage in workshops that develop leadership skills and deepen faith. Although speakers and special guests will be announced at a later date, the conference promises a preview of impactful workshops focused on key areas, such as EDS Fundraising.
