MOVE Conference

The MOVE Conference is recognized as the largest winter evangelism conference for teenagers in Georgia, making it an ideal retreat for youth groups during the winter season. This dynamic event takes place at Wild Adventures, a large, covered venue that allows attendees to engage with the park throughout the day. Hosted by the Next Gen office of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, the conference focuses on evangelistic outreach and spiritual growth among students. With an audience reach across the USA, this conference is designed to inspire and encourage participants to deepen their faith and fulfill their callings in Christ.Keynote speaker Shane, a dedicated evangelist and Bible teacher with over 20 years of ministry experience, will be sharing his insights and messages during the conference. He has a remarkable track record of speaking to over one hundred thousand people annually about the good news of Jesus Christ. Alongside Shane, Kyle Edenfield, who serves as the Worship Pastor at Midway Church, will lead worship sessions. Edenfield is passionate about nurturing young leaders and enhancing their capabilities to serve within their local churches. Participants will experience a vibrant atmosphere filled with worship, teaching, and opportunities for personal growth.While groups and individuals are responsible for their own housing, the conference has preferred hotel partners in Valdosta, where attendees can secure rooms at negotiated rates. These accommodations include amenities such as free hot breakfast, Wi-Fi, and access to business and fitness centers, providing a comfortable stay for participants. Volunteers play a critical role in the success of the MOVE Conference, and those interested in serving will undergo screening and training to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Volunteers will also receive free park admission and some meal coverage in exchange for their service during the event. The MOVE Conference is not just about attending sessions; it is about building a community of faith and equipping the next generation to be leaders in their own right.
