Mid-Winter Conference

The Mid-Winter Conference, organized by The American Legion Department of Tennessee, is designed to bring together National Guard and Reserve members, their families, and communities to enhance their well-being through various resources. This conference will be held at the Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville, United States. It serves as a pivotal platform where Service members and their loved ones can connect with local resources that support them throughout the deployment cycle.

A significant focus of the Mid-Winter Conference is the Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (YRRP), a Department of Defense initiative aimed at ensuring that Reserve Service members and their families have access to crucial information about health care, education, training opportunities, and various financial and legal benefits. With the guidance of commanders and leaders, attendees are encouraged to participate in the conference to maximize their access to these essential resources.

The collaboration with federal partners, including the Small Business Administration and the Departments of Labor and Veterans Affairs, ensures that the information provided is both up-to-date and relevant for the members of the all-volunteer force and their families.
