Lutheran Adult Gathering

The Lutheran Adult Gathering will convene under the theme In His Presence: Go – Make – Share, inspired by the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19–20. This event aims to equip participants for sharing the Gospel effectively within their own contexts. Attendees will experience renewal and refreshment, surrounded by a community of believers, as they learn to give a joyful testimony to the living hope found in Jesus.Renowned speakers at the event include Rev. Greg Finke, founder and Executive Director of Dwelling 1:14, and Ryan Tinetti, assistant professor of practical theology at Concordia Seminary. Rev. Finke, known for his impactful Joining Jesus series, will share insights on mission, discipleship, and church multiplication. His organization, Dwelling 1:14, provides valuable training experiences for congregations to enhance their outreach efforts. On the other hand, Ryan Tinetti, who contributes regularly to his blog, will bring his expertise in practical theology to the gathering. Additionally, Tanner Olson, an author and spoken word poet, will share his unique blend of poetry and storytelling, focusing on themes of grace and hope. His presentations are characterized by their hopeful uniqueness, humor, and curiosity.The event will take place at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, United States, and includes a comprehensive package that covers programming and ferry transportation to the island.
