Lilburn Children's Business Fair

The Lilburn Children's Business Fair is an exciting event designed to inspire young entrepreneurs in the vibrant community of Lilburn, GA. Organized by Keyanna Moreau, M.ED.-CI, co-founder of C.H.O.I.C.E. Preparatory Academy, along with dedicated parent-volunteer Keturah Lewis, this fair presents a unique opportunity for children ages 6 to 17 to launch their own businesses. Participants will create a brand, design a booth, and engage with customers in a lively one-day marketplace filled with families and community support. The fair aims to cultivate skills in entrepreneurship, offering a platform for children to learn about selling products or services in a practical and enjoyable environment.This event is not just a marketplace but a competition as well, where each participating business is entered to win prizes awarded by a panel of judges based on criteria such as creativity, innovation, and business excellence. With an expected visitor count of around 1,500 and approximately 30 exhibitors, the Lilburn Children's Business Fair is recognized as one of the largest entrepreneurship events for kids in North America. Each child will be provided with their own booth, equipped with a 6-foot table and two chairs, to showcase their entrepreneurial ventures. It is essential for the young participants to independently manage their booths, with parent involvement limited to supervising younger children. This initiative stems from the original Acton Children's Business Fair concept, which began in Austin, Texas, in 2007, and has since grown significantly, now boasting numerous young entrepreneurs and attendees. The fair promises an enriching experience, empowering children to build confidence, acquire real-world skills, and explore their potential as future creators and innovators.
