LIFE Conference

The LIFE Conference XXVIII is set to take place at the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in Dover, United States. This annual event focuses on providing valuable information, educational resources, and opportunities for individuals with disabilities, their families, caregivers, educators, and service providers. The primary goal of the conference is to promote full community integration through a concentrated effort on the critical areas of Legislation, Independence, Families, and Education. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to engage in various sessions designed to share insights and foster networking among policy makers and the general public.This year's conference will feature a Keynote Address alongside nine concurrent sessions that delve into pertinent topics such as Beyond Awareness: Creating Spaces Where Everyone Belongs, Self Care Aware: How to Support Your Wellbeing When Everything Keeps Changing, A Seat at the Table: An Interactive Discussion, and Embracing All Abilities: Visibility, Invisibility, and Self-Acceptance. In addition to the educational sessions, the conference will host over 50 exhibitors showcasing their products and services, providing attendees with a comprehensive view of the resources available in the field. The LIFE Conference is partially supported by the Administration for Community Living (ACL) under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), receiving a significant financial assistance award that underscores its commitment to accessibility and inclusion. With an expected visitor count of around 200 individuals, the LIFE Conference promises to be a foundational event that not only educates but also empowers the community it serves.
