The conference is hosted at the historic Jackson Lake Lodge, which serves as both the accommodation and the conference headquarters, providing breathtaking views of the Teton range and easy access to field excursions. Attendees will have the chance to photograph sweeping landscapes, intimate scenes, and the park's diverse wildlife during this spectacular time of year, when golden foliage and active wildlife prepare for winter.The conference features a new format with multiple tracks based on over ten years of feedback. Each field session will pair participants with different instructors for a full day, allowing for a focused learning experience tailored to individual photography goals. In total, 18 expert instructors will lead the sessions, covering various aspects of photography, including composition techniques for landscapes, creative approaches to capturing intimate scenes, and effective strategies for wildlife photography. Attendees will have hands-on opportunities to learn from these professionals, as well as participate in group presentations, breakout sessions, and image reviews. The conference is designed to maximize field time with instructors while encouraging social interaction among participants, fostering a vibrant community of photography enthusiasts.Participants can choose their field session focus—landscape, creative, or wildlife—allowing for personalized instruction. The landscape instructors will guide photographers to ideal locations at perfect times, emphasizing light and conditions to create compelling images. The creative instructors will help attendees explore personal expression, utilizing techniques like black-and-white photography and intentional camera movement. Meanwhile, wildlife instructors will focus on capturing the park's magnificent fauna, including grizzlies, bison, moose, and elk during peak activity in the fall season. The conference also includes essential skills for managing camera settings, post-processing techniques, and strategies for refining one's photographic vision and style. The conference includes lodging for four nights, meals, and numerous instructional sessions, ensuring all participants have a comprehensive learning experience. Attendees will also benefit from pre-conference online presentations and post-conference sessions to continue their education beyond the event. This immersive experience is limited to 90 attendees, allowing for an intimate setting and personalized instruction. With activities planned for mornings and evenings, participants will have ample opportunity to engage with their instructors and fellow photographers in a stunning natural environment, making this event a memorable and enriching experience for all involved.
