Labor & Employee Relations Conference

The Labor & Employee Relations Conference is set to take place at the Seattle Convention Center, a modern venue located in downtown Seattle, easily accessible and within walking distance of many popular attractions and restaurants. This conference will feature five distinguished labor arbitrators who will address critical labor law and arbitration issues pertinent to labor and management professionals. The educational format of the conference is designed to blend legal theory with practical application, thereby enabling participants to evaluate effective strategies, craft persuasive arguments, and adeptly manage workplace disputes.Throughout the event, attendees will engage in a variety of learning formats, including lectures, panel discussions, and an analysis of recent arbitration decisions. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and interact with the faculty, who collectively bring decades of experience as labor arbitrators. Among the faculty, notable speakers include a labor arbitrator and law professor from Southwestern Law School, along with distinguished arbitrators from the West Coast and other regions, each with their unique backgrounds in labor law practice and education. These experts will cover essential topics such as evidence, contract interpretation, past practices, due process, insubordination, and effective advocacy. Additionally, attorneys and HR professionals may be eligible for continuing education credits, including CLE credits and recertification credits through SHRM and HRCI.
