IRWA Annual Conference

The IRWA Annual Conference, held at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in Des Moines, United States, is a pivotal event for Iowa's public water and wastewater systems. Participants must submit a one-quart sample in a glass container at the conference registration desk by 9:30 AM on the designated day. A panel of distinguished taste testers will evaluate the samples based on criteria such as taste, bouquet, and clarity. The winner will be celebrated at the conference Award Reception and will earn the opportunity to compete at the National Rural Water Association’s Rural Water Rally in Washington, D.C. The IRWA will sponsor the Best Tasting Water winner with a trip that includes accommodations for two nights and airfare for one individual from the winning utility, while all other expenses will be the responsibility of the attendees.
