Impact Investing for the Next Generation

The 'Impact Investing for the Next Generation' program is a distinguished course tailored for next-generation wealth holders aged 20-55 who aspire to leverage their resources for positive change through sustainable and impact investing. This program, which has its roots at Harvard Kennedy School's Initiative for Responsible Investment, is now facilitated by the Center for Sustainable Finance & Private Wealth (CSP) and encompasses two intensive modules: the first taking place in Zurich at the University of St. Gallen and the second at the MIT Sloan School of Management in Boston. Designed to foster an enriching learning environment, the program features small, diverse cohorts of participants, allowing for open discussions and peer-to-peer learning from leading experts in the field.Throughout the seven-month journey, participants engage in a blend of in-person training and online coursework, covering essential topics such as sustainable finance strategies, fund due diligence, and the formulation of an Impact Investment Policy Statement (IPS). The curriculum is flexible, accommodating various experience levels ranging from beginners to seasoned investors, ensuring that all participants can deepen their understanding and confidence in impact investing. The program's unique structure also encourages family participation, with special rates for relatives attending together, further promoting a cohesive approach to impact investing within family dynamics. With more than 270 alumni already part of this global network, graduates gain lifetime access to ongoing support and collaboration opportunities, solidifying their connections in the impact investment landscape. This program not only equips participants with the necessary skills and knowledge but also empowers them to initiate meaningful conversations about family investments, aligning them with their values and aspirations for societal impact.
