The Illinois Fire Chiefs Association Annual Conference is a premier event hosted at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, United States. Over the years, exhibits have expanded from a few tabletop displays in hotel hallways to an impressive showcase occupying over 108,000 square feet of the Peoria Civic Center, bringing together numerous exhibitors under one roof. The event also addresses critical topics such as recruiting women into the fire service and provides vital training initiatives like the Pipeline Training Initiative. The Illinois Fire Chiefs Association has mandated that the Annual Conference be held only in fully sprinklered buildings since 1991, ensuring safety and compliance, which is why the Peoria Civic Center and its adjacent hotels have been chosen as the venue.
