About
OtherIcon Honors
The ICON Honors is a prestigious event that recognizes outstanding business leaders over the age of 60 in the Greater Rochester Area. This event is set to take place at the Genesee Valley Club in Rochester, United States. The awards aim to celebrate individuals who have demonstrated strong leadership both within and outside of their respective fields.
To be eligible for nomination, candidates must have been employed in one of the counties including Monroe, Ontario, Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, or Wayne, and should be at least 60 years old as of September 1 of the event year. While nominations can be submitted by anyone, it is encouraged that they come from senior leaders within the organization, as this provides a stronger endorsement of the candidate's accomplishments.
The selection process for the ICON Honors involves judges who look for clear evidence of the nominee's contributions to their field and community. It's beneficial for nominees to have at least one letter of recommendation from someone familiar with their work and leadership qualities. Notably, if an individual is honored at the event, they are not required to purchase a ticket for themselves.
The event has limited attendance based on venue capacity, ensuring an intimate and exclusive atmosphere for attendees. The ICON Honors not only celebrates individual achievements but also highlights the importance of leadership and community involvement in the Greater Rochester Area.
