IALD Enlighten Americas

The IALD Enlighten Americas conference is a premier boutique educational and networking event designed exclusively for lighting design professionals. This conference is part of the Enlighten series, which takes place in various locations including Austin, Texas, and Paris, France. With a registration cap of fewer than 500 attendees, the event fosters intimate interactions and meaningful discussions among leading experts in the field of architectural lighting design.

The conference serves as a platform where the lighting community gathers to learn, share ideas, and explore innovative solutions, driven by a shared passion for light.

The Enlighten conferences emphasize the importance of creativity, commerciality, and collaboration as essential elements for driving innovation within the lighting design industry. Participants are encouraged to submit proposals for presentations, workshops, and discussions that cover a wide array of topics relevant to the profession. Areas of particular interest include lighting controls and systems integration, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, business practice and professional development, lighting research (both academic and industry-focused), creative inspiration, cross-disciplinary learning, and practical skills through real-world case studies.

Each speaker is provided with a multi-day conference registration, alongside financial incentives for their participation in seminars. The IALD aims to facilitate a learning environment where lighting designers can enhance their skills and knowledge, thereby advancing the future of lighting design.
