Getting the Love You Want

The Getting the Love You Want workshop is a transformative experience aimed at couples seeking to enhance their relationships through conscious connection. Hosted in Washington DC, this in-person event invites participants to engage in a lively, experiential format designed to turn conflict into opportunities for healing and growth. The workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore emotional histories and understand how they impact daily interactions, fostering compassion for each partner's story. Couples can expect to leave the weekend with fresh insights, new skills, energy, and renewed hope for restoring commitment and romance in their relationships.Throughout the workshop, led by Hayley Hoffman, MA, LPC, and David, participants will learn essential communication skills that nurture their connection. The program includes a variety of engaging activities such as brief lectures, demonstrations, video presentations, music, personal reflections, and private conversations, all conducted in a safe and supportive environment. Attendees will gain a new sense of the space between them, develop understanding and empathy for their partner’s inner narrative, and acquire tools to repair old wounds. The agenda is structured over the course of the weekend, starting with a welcome session on Friday evening, followed by comprehensive exercises and lectures on Saturday and Sunday. Hayley, a licensed professional counselor passionate about helping couples, and David, who brings experience in international diplomacy and executive coaching, are both dedicated to supporting participants in overcoming marital struggles and reigniting passion. Their combined expertise, along with their personal experiences as a married couple with a blended family, allows them to offer empathy and hope to attendees. Note that participants must be fully vaccinated and take a rapid test on the first day to ensure a safe environment.
