Encore DCS Extreme Convention

The Encore DCS Extreme Convention is set to take place at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in Columbia, South Carolina. This exciting three-day event will feature master classes in various dance styles, including Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Tap, Ballet, and Musical Theatre, among others. Participants will have the chance to attend workshops, classes, and networking events tailored for teachers, as well as Jazz Funk classes designed specifically for parents. A highlight of the convention includes the competition for the prestigious titles of Miss and Mister Encore Extreme.The convention boasts a stellar lineup of faculty and choreographers, including Allynn, an NYC-based casting director with an extensive background in musical theater and dance. She has been involved in numerous high-profile projects and is passionate about fostering the next generation of artists. Another notable faculty member, Marissa Ledford, is a Michigan-based dancer and choreographer known for her unique approach to storytelling through dance. Kassidy Oswald Shenk, an Atlanta-based dancer and NFL Cheerleader, combines her performance experience with her dedication to educating young dancers. Brandon, a highly sought-after international choreographer, adds to the event’s prestige with his explosive movement style and teaching prowess at renowned dance institutions.Lauren Hummel, an award-winning choreographer, and Josh Perez, a talented hip-hop instructor with a successful TV background, will also be sharing their expertise. Regina Willoughby, a former principal dancer with renowned ballet companies, brings her extensive teaching experience and passion for dance education to the convention.
