EARNCon

EARNCon 2026 will convene at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., focusing on critical issues as the nation approaches its 250th anniversary. This year's conference aims to unite state and local movement leaders to confront the challenges facing core American values and institutions, which are currently in crisis. EARNCon 2026 will celebrate the commitment to centering people, equity, and collective action, emphasizing the need for racial and gender equity, economic justice, and democracy in policy-making. The conference will serve as a platform for enhancing organizing strategies and state policies that promote an economy that benefits everyone.The conference will feature discussions on vital topics, including the strengthening of unions and workplace protections, the establishment of robust public programs for economic security, and the role of community-labor organizing in driving local policy changes. EARNCon is open to EARN groups, state and local policy advocates, labor and grassroots organizers, allied researchers, and other partners from the Economic Policy Institute (EPI). The Economic Analysis & Research Network (EARN) is grateful for the ongoing support from funders such as the Bernard and Anne Spitzer Charitable Trust, the National Association of Letter Carriers, and the United Food and Commercial Workers. Participants are encouraged to submit proposals for conference sessions that will enrich the experience for all attendees.
