CVSA Certified Examiners Course

The CVSA Certified Examiners Course is an intensive five-day certification course conducted by expert instructors, focusing on the use of the Computer Voice Stress Analyzer (CVSA®). This course is hosted by select law enforcement agencies across the United States, ensuring small class sizes for ample hands-on instruction. Participants will also learn the specialized Defense Barrier Removal (DBR®) interviewing and interrogation technique, developed by the course founder. This technique, when combined with the CVSA®, has proven to be invaluable in obtaining admissions and confessions, as well as in clearing suspects.Participants in this course include various law enforcement agencies, such as the United States Probation Office (NC), Boulder Police Department, West Palm Beach Police Department, Plainfield Police Department, CA Department of Fish & Wildlife, Nevada Attorney General/North Las Vegas PD, South Euclid Police Department, Boone County Sheriff’s Office, and others. Some agencies have already filled their seats, underscoring the course's popularity and importance. In addition to the certification course, NITV Federal Services also conducts re-certification courses in partnership with the National Association of Computer Voice Stress Analysts (NACVSA), emphasizing the ongoing professional development of CVSA examiners. These re-certification courses are intended for seasoned examiners and last three days.The annual Advanced Continuing Education Conference, hosted in Florida, is another key event related to the CVSA. This five-day advanced training event features nationally and internationally recognized experts discussing various subjects directly related to the CVSA, including the latest scientific and technical advances, interviewing and interrogation techniques, pre-employment and background investigations, and specialized investigations. NITV Federal Services ensures that only those examiners who have completed a course taught by an approved instructor are recertified, regardless of their training organization's sponsorship. This requirement ensures that all examiners maintain the highest standards in their practice, as they are mandated to recertify every two calendar years.
