Corporate Sustainability Summit

The Corporate Sustainability Summit is an essential event focused on advancing sustainability practices across various industries. One of the highlights of the summit is the recognition of companies that actively contribute to biodiversity through initiatives like the GCP Groundbreaker’s Biodiversity Challenge. Established in 2025 by the GCP Sustainability Leaders Tree Canopy Working Group, this challenge aims to promote collaboration among businesses to support biodiversity on their campuses and within their communities.In the inaugural year of the challenge, eight companies were awarded for their outstanding efforts in enhancing biodiversity. Notable participants included the Davey Tree Expert Company and Gold Tree, among others. The remarkable outcomes from the 2025 challenge included the conversion of 20 acres of land into no-mow native landscapes, the planting of 142 native trees and shrubs, and a generous donation of $52,946 towards local planting and habitat projects. These initiatives exemplify the impactful steps businesses are taking to foster environmental sustainability. The announcement of the 2026 award winners will be a significant moment at the upcoming 2027 Corporate Sustainability Summit, taking place at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.
