Core 6: Predictable Esthetics - The Dawson Academy

The Dawson Academy presents Core 6: Predictable Esthetics, a comprehensive continuing education course designed for dental professionals aiming to enhance their skills in anterior restorative procedures. This hands-on program focuses on mastering the principles of Smile Design, empowering participants to create natural, functional, and enduring esthetic results.

The curriculum emphasizes the importance of integrating function, esthetics, and phonetics in treatment plans, transitioning 2D planning into 3D precision through the use of diagnostic models, reduction guides, and provisional matrices. Participants will gain confidence in diagnosis, material selection, preparation design, and the creation of key indices to ensure predictability in delivering exquisite anterior restorations.

Course attendees will engage in hands-on exercises that include making reduction stents, creating temporary restorations, and learning various preparation techniques for anterior teeth. Emphasis will be placed on the critical step of contouring provisional restorations to achieve long-term functional and esthetic success. The course also covers essential topics such as adhesive protocols for final restorations and effective laboratory communication to guarantee predictable outcomes.

By the end of the program, dentists, specialists, and lab technicians will have developed the necessary skills and protocols to confidently complete anterior restorations, contributing significantly to their ability to manage complex cases in a comprehensive treatment plan. This course not only enhances clinical knowledge but also serves as a pathway to building a more profitable and fulfilling dental practice.
