Congressional Pharmacy Fly- In

The Congressional Pharmacy Fly-In, organized by the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA), recently took place at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town in Alexandria, United States. This prominent event has once again reached maximum capacity, attracting hundreds of independent community pharmacy advocates from across the nation. In attendance were pharmacists from 43 states and the District of Columbia, all gathering with a shared mission to engage with legislators and advocate for the community pharmacy profession.

During this impactful Fly-In, attendees participated in nearly 300 meetings with members of Congress and their staff. The extensive involvement of the pharmacists led to over 1,200 interactions, amplifying their voices in Congress. This event serves as a crucial platform for community pharmacists to discuss vital issues affecting their profession and to ensure that their perspectives are heard in the legislative process.
