Conference on Statistical Learning and Data Science

The Conference on Statistical Learning and Data Science (SLDS) is the flagship event of the ASA Section on Statistical Learning and Data Science, taking place at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza in Cincinnati, United States. This biannual conference, which resumed in 2024 after a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, serves as a premier gathering for researchers in statistical machine learning and artificial intelligence from academia, industry, and government. The main goal is to foster a relaxed yet stimulating environment that encourages the development of statistical learning theory, methods, and applications.SLDS 2026 is designed with several key objectives in mind. It aims to disseminate recent advances at the intersection of statistics, machine learning, and AI, with a specific emphasis on principled inference for modern data and intelligent systems. Another focus is to create an interactive atmosphere that fosters collaboration among participants engaged in theory, methodology, computation, and various domain applications.
