The Children's Business Fair of Wichita offers a unique opportunity for children to launch their very own business. This engaging one-day marketplace, hosted at Mark Arts in Wichita, allows young entrepreneurs to create a brand, develop a product or service, and build a marketing strategy while showcasing their innovations to the public. The event is proudly sponsored by Acton Academy and supported by generous donors and volunteers who believe in the power of principled entrepreneurship as a vital role model for the next generation.

In this vibrant setting, children are given the chance to learn the fundamentals of business in a practical way. With a limit of three participants per business, the fair encourages creativity and individuality among the young entrepreneurs. In cases where multiple participants have similar business ideas, the event allows market forces to determine the outcome, maintaining a competitive yet fair environment.

While parents of younger children can assist at the booths, the onus is on the children to handle set up, customer interactions, and sales, fostering independence and responsibility. The Children's Business Fair has seen immense growth since its inception in 2007, starting with just seven entrepreneurs and 25 attendees in Austin, Texas, to now inspiring over 115 entrepreneurs and 1,500 attendees in Wichita, making it the largest entrepreneurship event for children in North America.
