The Children's Business Fair in Frankfort, KY, is an exciting opportunity for children to unleash their entrepreneurial spirit by launching their own startup businesses. Each business can consist of up to three participants, and they will be judged based on the age of the oldest team member. The Fair aims not only to provide a space for selling but also to instill essential entrepreneurial skills and experiences in children. Participants will need to arrange their own tables, chairs, and tents for outdoor booths, while indoor exhibitors will be provided with necessary seating.The Acton Children's Business Fair has a rich history, having started in 2007 when Jeff and Laura Sandefer, along with a handful of families, sought to inspire a sense of wonder and entrepreneurship in their children. From its humble beginnings with just seven entrepreneurs and 25 attendees in Austin, Texas, the event has expanded significantly, now attracting over 115 young business owners and 1,500 attendees in its Austin iteration. The Fair emphasizes that children should take the lead in their business ventures, with parents limited to supportive roles to encourage independence. This inclusive event welcomes participants from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that all children have the chance to develop their entrepreneurial skills in a nurturing environment.
